DESIGN CONTEXT - ten questions to ask myself

1. Describe your personality in five words.
Silly
Able to laugh at myself
A worrier
Pessimistic - everything's going to go wrong
Giving

2. How much do you care about your appearance? On a scaled of 1 (least) to 5 (most).

4 due to my interest in fashion and also because of my insecurities.

3. Your favourite artists/bands?

Smashing Pumpkins, Lykke Li, Cat Power, The Strokes, St Vincent, Magazine, Antony and the Johnsons, Beirut

4. Do you have an amusing joke? Tell one.

I'm not a funny person.

5. Where would you take someone on a date?

Anywhere but to a restaurant - I can't eat in front of the opposite sex.

7. What is your favourite past time?

Playing the piano - been playing for ten years. Always nice to go home and get the opportunity to play.
Photography, also.

8. Who is your favourite person and why?

My mum - she is completely and utterly selfless.

9. If you could keep one thing, and give up another, what would they be?

I'd keep my watch and give up my phone.

10. What are you currently reading?

Hope: A Tragedy by Shalom Auslander

'Hope: A Tragedy is a hilarious and haunting examination of the burdens and abuse of history, propelled with unstoppable rhythm and filled with existential musings and mordant wit. It is a comic and compelling story of the hopeless longing to be free of those pasts that haunt our every present.'

Three pieces of art or design that relate to me:

Lykke Li - reflects my interest in music

Ashley Smith by Chadwick Tyler - reflects my interest in photography and fashion - favourite model.

Lurve Magazine - reflects my interests in reading, design, fashion and photograph.
