WHAT IS A LINE - fairy tales

The modern day fairy tale by Viktor and Rolf

Fashion designers are often accused of living their lives in ivory towers but Viktor & Rolf have come over all Brothers Grimm and written down their imaginary flights of fancy for us all to share; a collection of 12 fairy tales to be published in October, called simply Viktor & Rolf Fairy Tales.
The stories are all fantasy worlds that are recognisable as part of Viktor & Rolf's often dramatic vision.

Fairy tales are in the air. The Museum of Childhood currently has an installation called The Stuff of Nightmares, the dark setting for a re-telling of The Brothers Grimm's Fundevogel, a tale of abduction, fear, evil old women, revenge and ultimately, friendship;Taschen publishes The Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm this month [September 2011], a beautifully illustrated collection of 27 classic fairy tales, while two versions of Snow White are currently in production, one starring Kristen Stewart and Lily Cole and the other with Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Lily Collins as Snow White both due for release in 2012.
