Possibly one of my favourite collections has to be the Roald Dahl stamps with miniature Quentin Blake illustrations, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the BFG. I feel they display exactly the type of detail and character you can fit on such a small space. Space is evidently going to be an issue when it comes to designing my own set, yet after looking on the RM website, it's amazing what you can get on a stamp and it still looking extremely effective and eye catching. 

Another thing we have to take into consideration is the placing of the Queen's head. After having a look around the website at all the different collections, it's interesting to see the ways in which the head has been laid out, and also the didn't varieties of colour she can come in. It is nice to get a little bit of inspiration from the website, and to have a look at past and present collections.
