ENVELOPE STYLES AND DESIGNS

An over-complicated and fussy design didn't seem appropriate to how I wanted my final product to look. The mail shot was to be inconspicuous, something that was promoting this idea of secrecy - it wasn't meant to stand out. It wasn't a case of being too lazy, or not having enough time, some fancy folding just didn't really seem all that fitting to my profession. There was the possibility of looking into the idea of only certain people being able to open it somehow, due to it's very particular and 'dangerous' audience, however this would have proved difficult and in the end no one would have been able to get inside.
Standard envelope styles were looked at instead, and how these could be added to and made to be a bit quirky and representative of the message.

The inside of the envelope could be made a bit more obvious and suited to the profession through the use of colour or image. Lined envelopes are extremely effective. They make things more distinctive and memorable.
