FEEL GOOD - research

Whilst doing some research for another brief, I came across some packaging that I thought could inform my design for the Feel Good brief. This was not only because of the beautiful hand drawn illustration, but because it also featured humour, and a light hearted tone of voice.

You Smell by Megan Cummings

The name of these products is an immediate eye-catcher in itself. The use of "You Smell" as a brand name is extremely clever. From the front, it is eloquently laid out, which contrasts with the actual meaning of the term. However, when you read the reverse of the packaging, it then states 'Like Sweet Seduction...Thanks to us!". This makes the product extremely playful and adds humour to such a beautiful design. The product itself creates an experience for the consumer, allowing them to turn the product in search of more information.
